Title: Can We Turn Obscure Applied Software Testing Challenges into Research Questions?


Biography

Dr. Yavuz Koroglu received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Bogazici University, Turkey, in 2014, 2016, and 2023, respectively. Since then, he continued his studies as a postdoctoral researcher at Graz University of Technology, Austria. He authored several publications in top conferences, including IEEE Conference on Software Testing, Validation and Verification (ICST 2018), ACM/IEEE International Conference on Automation of Software Test (AST 2023), and IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2025), and in top journals like Springer Nature Computer Science (SNCS) and Wiley Software Testing, Verification, and Reliability (STVR). He received a best paper award from AST 2019. His research interests cover search-based and model-based software testing, fuzzing, formal verification, and machine learning. He is now focusing on bilateral artificial intelligence (AI) research and its applications to testing and verification domains.
