Title: m6A methyltransferase METTL3 promotes malignant proliferation of colorectal cancer cell via the CDK4/P53/MYC signaling axis
Mulin Liu received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from
Xi’an Jiao tong University in China. He is currently the Director of the
Department of Gastroenterology, The First Affiliated Hospital, Bengbu Medical
College. He is also the Director of the General Surgery Department, Bengbu
Medical College. His main research interests include molecular etiology and
prognosis of the etiology, pathogenesis, occurrence, and development of
digestive system tumors. He is a recipient of the second and third prizes of
scientific and technological progress in Anhui province.
We used bioinformatics approaches to analyze the differences and possible biological functions of m6A-related genes in colorectal cancer (CRC). Moreover, we evaluated the key genes involved in the m6A RNA methylation process and assessed their biological functions as well as potential molecular mechanisms in malignant proliferation of CRC cells.
