Skin Cancers

Skin cancers are the most common malignancies worldwide, primarily resulting from excessive ultraviolet (UV) radiation exposure. The main types include basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and melanoma, with melanoma representing the most aggressive and life-threatening form. Early detection through clinical examination, dermoscopy, and timely biopsy significantly improves treatment outcomes and survival rates. Recent advances in targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and preventive strategies have markedly enhanced disease management and patient prognosis.
