Synthesized ZSM-5 Catalysts for the Conversion of Methanol-to-Olefin (MTO) Reaction
Dr. Huda Sharbini Kamaluddin, obtained her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar and Prof.Dr.Sulaiman Basahel. Her Ph.D. thesis has been done within the international collaboration with Utrecht University (UU), Utrecht, Netherlands, inorganic chemistry and catalysis group, where she had an internship as a guest researcher for a half a year under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bert Weckhuysen. Likewise, her master's obtained from King abdulaziz University in 2010. Her worked was focused on the synthesis and characterization of catalytic materials. More specifically, zeolite nanoporous material on MFI-structure with modified properties for enhancing propylene selectivity in the methanol-to-olefins (MTO) reaction using operando UV-vis spectroscopy and online gas chromatography. Since 2010, she worked as an assistance researcher at Surface Chemistry and Catalytic Studies (SCCS) group in KAU, contribute to five national conferences, four international conferences, and three publications.
