Biography

 Dr Gunjan Bahuguna is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Grant Medical College Mumbai. She has done a post-doctoral certificate course in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstruction from AIIMS Rishikesh. She is passionate about uplifting the health of women, particularly in the rural areas plagued with a low resource health system and has played leading roles in setting up the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the hills.

For her remarkable social work in the rural hills of Uttarakhand, she has been nominated for the Rashtriya Gaurav Award 2022 in India.
