Although maternal morbidity and mortality are alarmingly high in Sub-Saharan Africa, maternal health care services utilization remains low. Promising achievements were recorded in reducing maternal morbidity and mortality under the millennium development goals and currently, the global community is putting collective endeavor by setting the sustainable development goals. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to determine the pooled proportion of the continuum of maternity care services and determinants in Ethiopia.
