Shaista Hussain is a medical graduate of the
Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland [Dublin] (MBBCh, BAO, LRCPI, LRCSI, HON),
practising as a Clinical Pathologist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Other academic achievements include:
CRISPR-Cas9 Applications (Harvard University); MSc in Clinical Pathology (GMU);
Clinical Research Training (Harvard University); Artificial Intelligence in
Healthcare (MIT Sloan); Cryptocurrency (Blockchain Council); Machine Learning
(Stanford); Azure Foundations & AI Engineer (Microsoft); and she is
currently completing ML Engineering with FourthBrain. Dr. Hussain founded the Triage Project, a
digital solution for community health education and screenings. She is an active medical researcher with a
number of book, chapter and journal publications in the fields of pathology,
sleep medicine, neuropsychiatry and AI / ML in Medicine. Dr. Shaista is merging medicine and
technology through research and engineering.
