Abstract

30% of the global population, now classified as overweight or obese. There is a direct correlation between increasing BMI and EC incidence in pre-and post-menopausal women. Mechanisms linking obesity and endometrial cancer patient

  1. Increased Estrogen Exposure
  2. Insulin Resistance and Hyperinsulinemia
  3. Chronic Inflammation
  4. Adipokines Imbalance

Obesity significantly influences the efficacy, safety, and feasibility of EC TT. A statistically significant association between obesity and both overall mortality and cancer recurrence. Improvements in the incidence & all-cause mortality associated with EC can be expected by preventing& treating obesity. High suspicion for EC in abnormal uterine bleeding in obese perimenopausal/postmenopausal women.
