Biography

A technical engineer and psychology graduate, heworked in a hospital for several years before serving as the mayor of ManresaCity Hall (Spain) from 1979 to 1986. He served as a senior civil servant at theEuropean Commission in Brussels, directing EURES European employment servicesand acting as Director for Governmental Cooperation with North African andMiddle Eastern countries. The Government of Catalonia appointed him as GeneralSecretary of the Department of Health in 2004 and entrusting him with the taskof establishing "BIOCAT." Later, he was the founder and CEO of theTicSalut Foundation from 2007 to 2013 and held the position of Director at the"mHealth Competence Centre" on Mobile World Capital Barcelona.Founder and CEO of InnoHealth Academy.
