Biography

Juan Carlos Wilches Camargo is a Physician with Masters and Postgraduate Degrees in Institutional Management

with extensive experience in the public, private and military field, specialist in

Internal Medicine from the laureate National University of Colombia; Supra

specialist in Clinical Cardiology, graduated from the Universidad del Bosque and

Shaio Foundation Clinic; Extensive work and teaching experience of over 28 years

in areas of Internal Medicine, Clinical Cardiology, Non-invasive methods, Intensive

Care and Critical Medicine; Founder and director of the Cardiovascular unit of the

Central Military Hospital of Colombia, Professor of Internal Medicine and

Cardiology of: Universidad Nacional De Colombia, Universidad Militar Nueva

Granada, Universidad Pontificia Javeriana, Universidad de la Sabana, Universidad

Pedagógica y Tecnológica De Colombia. Master in Vascular Biomechanics,

Diabetes, Lipids and Arterial Hypertension from the Austral University of Argentina;

Current member of the Chapter of Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension and

Transplantation of the Colombian Society of Cardiology; Member of the Chapter of

Lipids and atherosclerosis of the Colombian Society of Cardiology; Academically
