Infectious Diseases

Infectious diseases are observed to be one of the leading causes of death worldwide. It is caused by microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi or parasites and can spread easily between individuals. They're generally harmless or even helpful, on the other hand under certain conditions, some organisms may cause diseases.  Many diseases become problematic to control if the infectious agents progress resistance to commonly used drug. Researchers are currently searching for new methodologies to treat infectious diseases, focusing on how the pathogens change and drug resistance evolves.
