Title: Identifying hidden brain states responsive to transcranial stimulation
She received a PhD in Psychology at Northwestern University (IL,
USA), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in cognitive affective neuroscience
at the Feinberg Medical School of Northwestern University. She then took on an assistant
professor position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was recruited to
Florida State University through the campus-wide Brain Initiative to lead
research in human neuroimaging. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in
psychology and neuroscience and directs the Cognitive-Affective Neuroscience
Laboratory at Florida State University. Dr. Li has consistently published
high-quality work, appearing in Science, Neuron, Brain, and PNAS,
and has been awarded over $3M research funding from major agencies such as the
National Institute of Health and Department of Defense. Dr. Li has received
multiple investigator awards from prestigious scientific societies. She has
been elected as an NIH study section Regular Member and served many European
government funding agencies as an expert reviewer.
