THEME: "Enlightening the Advancements and Exploring the New Horizons in Nursing and Healthcare"
Health Informatics is a term for everything ""informatics"" related in healthcare. My bachelor is called ""health informatics"" so it can be a very broad term. For example, it can encompass all information systems in a hospital (the development, their use in a hospital or doctor's office), or it can be an accounting system for a doctor's office (which has special requirements in healthcare), or a healthcare data center etc. E-Health is a term to qualify the use of electronic devices in healthcare e.g. sending electronical patient records via HL7-protocol or sending a request for an X-ray exam from one system (e.g. hospital information system) to another system (radiology information system) instead of paper based requests. In the past few years another term emerged ""m-Health"" which stands for ""mobile Health"" and is part of E-Health. It is employed specifically for the use of mobile devices in healthcare."
