Lam is
Assistant Professor of School of Arts and Social Sciences and Research Fellow
at the Public and Social Policy Research Centre of Hong Kong Metropolitan
University. She is interested in researching the ways in which inequality is
produced, especially in relation to education and the family with qualitative
methodologies. Apart from more recently studying the employability of higher
education graduates, she has also been studying informal caregivers for older
adults in Hong Kong. Her teaching covers the areas of sociological perspectives
on ageing, family, gender and sexuality, Hong Kong society, and social research
methods.
