Title: Bridging Patient and Provider Perspectives in Eye-Care Utilization: A Multilevel Analysis of Psychosocial Determinants and System Barriers in Jharkhand
Debanjali Bhattacharjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Optometry with over 13 years of academic and clinical experience in the field of eye care and vision sciences. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Community Optometry, with a research focus on eye-care utilization, psychosocial determinants, and public health approaches to visual health. Her academic interests include community eye health, Ophthalmic Lens and Dispensing Optics, contact lenses, and preventive optometry. She has contributed to the scientific community through six research publications in the areas of optometry and public health. Dedicated to teaching, research, and community outreach, she actively participates in academic activities, vision screening programs, and evidence-based healthcare initiatives. Her work aims to improve awareness, accessibility, and utilization of eye-care services, particularly among underserved populations, while promoting advancements in optometric education and community-based vision care practices.
