Advanced drug delivery technologies can increase efficacy and safety, extend patent lives, and provide fierce differentiation for biopharmaceuticals. Efficient drug delivery plays a pivotal role in disease treatment and remains an important provocation in medicine. Recent advances in the field of microfabrication have offered the chance to develop controlled release systems for drug delivery. Herein, we will mainly address two kinds of delivery devices: microreservoir and micro/nanofluidic devices. Novel drug delivery mechanisms and devices can have a remarkable  impact for drug manufacturers. In fact, drug delivery technologies can help drug manufacturers in transform new therapeutics from existing products, provide a means for extending patent protection, and enable novel treatments. While the most of drug delivery devices are related to oral delivery, however, it is not confound  given the extension of the biopharmaceutical market that the rapid growing segments of the drug delivery market address the delivery of biologic drugs. Therefore researchers are emerge a range of new delivery technologies and materials to enable these new drugs to be delivered intact to their target sites," says Rajveer Singh Rathor, a senior research analyst for healthcare with Markets and Markets.
