THEME: "Current and Emerging Trends in the Field of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery Research"
Nanoparticle synthesis refers to process for producing nanoparticles. Nanoparticles can be obtain from larger molecules, or synthesized by ‘bottom-up’ methods that, for example, nucleate and grow particles from fine molecular dispensation in liquid or vapour phase. Synthesis can also include functionalization by conjugation to bioactive molecules. Nanoparticles involves breaking up large material into atoms or ions and then allowing those atoms or ions to condense into nanoparticles. This process actually occurs, in a basic and an inefficient way, in your campfire, which produces a small quantity of carbon nanotubes. Synthesis of nanomaterial’s in more yield and less cost has been a significant challenge since the very early expansion of nanoscience.
