Route of administration in medicine is the way by which a drug is taken into the body. Routes of administration are generally categorized  by the position  at which the substance is applied. Routes of drug administration is target at developing novel routes to reduce side effects form common routes by which a drug is brought into connection with the body. Various dosage forms are manufactured by pharmaceutical companies according to drug designing to increase  bioavailability. It  includes different routes of administration are Topical drug delivery through  large Scale of classes including but not limited to creams, foams, gels, lotions, and ointments. Pulmonary drug delivery system route having  much importance in the present day research field as it authorize to target the drug delivery straight to lung both for local and systemic treatment.
