Biography

Dr. Lombardo is a physicist and materials engineer in the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), within the Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technologies (ITALY). He is lecturer in several post-graduate courses at University. He has been leading several major research projects related to biotechnology, material science and engineering. He has been co-authoring over 100 papers, of which more than 60 on international peer-reviewed and indexed journals and a number of other publications (conference proceedings, book chapters etc.).

Research Interest

Experimental and theoretical research in the soft matter, drug delivery and biotechnology fields, in collaboration with the industry, major European research institutions, and international partners. His research activity is focused on the study of Supramolecular Aggregates, Nanostructured Material, Modeling of Structural and Dynamic Properties in Polymers, Lipid Bio-Membranes in Solution and Zeolite Synthesis on Nanocolloids.
