Biography

Aleksandra Klos-Skrzypczak is a doctor of  Theology,  Master of  Sociology; Associate Professor at the Faculty ofTheology, University of Silesia in Katowice, director of courses: theology;family science. Research interests: moral and social aspects of prenatal childloss, marriage and family in American society, American neoconservatism.

Abstract

Theaim of the presentation is to highlight the issue of situation of womentheologians at Polish universities. The starting point is demonstration of thelegal provisions of individual Polish universities, conditions of employmentand promotion path. The problem of the glass ceiling will form the next part ofthe consideration. The presentation is theoretic-empirical in nature andsituates itself at the intersection of sociology and moral theology. The authoranalyzes the collected data through questionnaire surveys and by conductingcasual interviews with women theologians.
