Biography

Andrea Ragusa graduated in Organic Chemistry from the University of Parma (Parma, IT) in 2001 and then obtained his PhD in Supramolecular Chemistry from the University of Southampton (Southampton, UK) in 2005. In 2005 and 2006 he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones Quimicas of the CSIC (Seville, ES). In 2007 he moved back to Italy where he worked at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory on theranostics and drug delivery. He now is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Salento (Lecce, IT) and an associate researcher at the CNR-Nanotec

Research Interest

 Research interests focus mainly on Nanomedicine, Nutraceutical and pharmaceutical Chemsitry.
