Biography

Sergey Vasilevskiy, Head of the Group of Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion of the Russian Academy of Sciences.  He is awarded by Medal of International Biographic Center, Cambridge in 2000. Scientific Biography of  S.F.Vasilevskiy is published in “Encyclopedia of Successful Men of Russia” 2012. The total number of publications is 250 articles, of which 5 reviews, 3 patents and 8 copyright certificates, one monograph in English. He lectured and worked at Universities: Germany, France, Holland, England, Spain, Greece, South Africa, Australia.

Research Interest

 The development of the methods of syntheses of aryl- and hetarylacetylenes with application of transition metal catalysis.

The investigation of the heterocyclization of vicinal functionally substituted aryl- and hetarylacetylenes and study of biological activity of heterocyclic compounds.

The development of the methods of syntheses of spin-labeled acetylenes.
