Biography

Mahmoud Abdelhafiz obtained BSc and MSc (Chemical Engineering) from Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt in 2003 and 2010 respectively. I’ve certified my PhD degree in 2017 from the chemical and biological department, Sheffield University, UK. I am currently working as a Teacher assistant in the Explosives and Rocket Propellants department, Chemical Engineering Branch, Military Technical College. The main areas of research include synthesis and characterization of novel polymers and high energy materials, development of insensitive ammunition and high performance plastic explosives, Investigation of modern gun and rocket propellants, ageing and life extension of propellants.
