What's happening at Diabetes Conference 2022?

We are excited to announce that our Scholars World Congress on Diabetes, Obesity and Endocrinology will be held in person on 14-16 November 2022 at MENA Plaza Hotel Albarsha, Dubai, UAE. This exciting and informative conference provides annual state-of-the-art training for healthcare professionals in diabetes prevention, education, and clinical care. The sessions are lecture-based with question and answer periods and offers networking opportunities throughout.

In response to the need to treat and care for an ageing population who live with diabetes, ?and because of the significant adverse effect of the coronavirus pandemic on this sector of the population, this upcoming conference has been designed by Scholars Conferences to create Diabetes free society.

Target Audience: The content of this conference is targeted toward healthcare professionals, especially nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and physicians (including family physicians, internists, and endocrinologists).

• Understand how to manage high and low blood glucose levels – how this may manifest in the older person

• Understand how Covid-19 (and other serious infections) can cause serious acute illness in the older adult and which medications may need to be stopped during acute illness
• Gain an understanding of frailty and the modifiable risk factors (linked with diabetes) of becoming unwell
• Have an awareness of how to do a basic foot examination and identify foot problems that should be reported promptly in acutely unwell residents with diabetes
• Understand current practice regarding End of Life Care, including monitoring and diabetes medication requirements
