Biography

Dr. Feruza Bekmetova, M.D., Doctor of Science, is a highly accomplished cardiologist with extensive experience in functional diagnostics. She obtained her M.D. diploma from Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1990, followed by a clinical residency in cardiology at the Scientific Center of Cardiology in Tashkent. Dr. Bekmetova furthered her education with postgraduate studies at the Center for the Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers in Tashkent.Throughout her career, Dr. Bekmetova has held various positions in esteemed medical institutions, including the Clinic of Tashkent Medical Institute and the Scientific Center of Cardiology, where she served as a functional ultrasound diagnostics doctor. With a focus on ischemic heart disease, she has contributed significantly to research as a senior researcher and currently serves as the Head of the Department of Functional Diagnostics at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
