Nano polymers, Nanotubes and Nano porous Materials

Polymer nanoscience is the study and application of nanotechnology to polymer-nanoparticle matrices, with nanoparticles having at least one dimension of less than 100 nanometers. Silicon nanospheres, also known as nanopolymers, have a size of 40–100 nm and are considerably harder than silicon, with a hardness that falls between between sapphire and diamond.

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are carbon tubes which have a diameter measured in nanometers. Multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), which are composed of nested single-wall carbon nanotubes, are also known as carbon nanotubes. Although some carbon nanotubes are electrically conductive, others are semiconductors.

A normal organic or inorganic bulk phase with a porous structure constitutes nanoporous materials. Nanoporous materials have pore sizes that are typically measured in nanometers. Pores in nanoporous materials typically have such a diameter of 100 nanometers or less.
