Nano Structures

Nanostructures are structures that range between 1 nm (molecular scale) and 100 nm in at least one dimension. Most are synthetic and can be engineered to wide range of physical properties. 

Nanostructure materials exhibit novel and astonishing properties that are entirely different from their bulk material counterparts. The properties of nanostructures always depend on the size, shape, and morphology of the nanostructures and hence they can be tuned. Therefore nanostructure materials are garnering great attention for their potential to advance and improve currently existing devices as well as to develop future ones.
