Biography

Dr Mohammad Al Qadir, RN, Ph.D. is an associate professor of oncology and palliative care nursing. He is currently working at the faculty of nursing in Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. He is the Head of adult and critical care.

He was the vice dean and the Head of Adult Nursing Care department at Prince Salma School of Nursing/Al Al-Bayt University in Jordan. He earned his Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Manchester-UK. The focus of his Ph.D. research was on implementing research findings to improve cancer pain management in Jordan. He has more than 10 years of clinical, teaching, and research experience and worked as an oncology nurse, Head Nurse, and Research Assistant.

Currently, he has published more than 67 articles and book chapters in a well-known international Journals in the field of Oncology and Palliative care. Dr. Qadire contributions are mainly to the field of pain management, cancer symptoms management, and palliative care nursing.
