Biography

Dr. Reifsnider, an endowed professor at Arizona State University, is an experienced public health nurse and researcher who has conducted funded research on children’s growth and health for many years. Understanding cultural differences in childrearing is of particular interest. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She has published 56 journal articles and led research teams funded by the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) and the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Disease (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health.
