Title: Multifunctional Nanophosphor for Thermometry, Anticounterfeiting, Scintillation, and Bioimaging
Dr. Minakshi has completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of
Mumbai. She further pursued her postdoctoral research at the Homi Bhabha
National Institute in collaboration of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai,
India, where she joined Dr. V. Sudarsan's group and focused on the fabrication of
luminescent materials for optical thermometry applications. Following this, she
joined Bharati Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai, where she is currently serving as an
Assistant Professor of Chemistry.
She was honored with the “Best Research Award” at a national conference
in recognition of her contributions to this field in 2020. Her research
interests span under the broad umbrella of optical and functional materials for
healthcare and energy applications. By exploring multidimensional applications
of optical materials, she is enjoying her research in designing fluorescent
materials for optical thermometry, bioimaging, scintillation,
anticounterfeiting, and committed to reveal novel functionalities.
