Biography

Mircea Mujat received his PhD at the University of Central Florida, College of Optics and Photonics in 2004. He continued his activity as a Research Fellow with Harvard Medical School and Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, and is currently a Principal Research Scientist with Physical Sciences, Inc. His current research interests include high resolution optical imaging (i.e., optical coherence tomography, optical frequency domain imaging, adaptive optics, phase contrast imaging, confocal and polarization microscopy), polarized light scattering, and biomedical applications of lasers. Mircea is a Fellow of Optica and SPIE.
