Biography

Ms. Devanshi Dalal is an Assistant Professor at KD Institute of Optometry, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. She holds a Master’s degree in Optometry and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in myopia control. She has received multiple academic distinctions, including gold medals during her undergraduate studies and recognition as a young researcher. Her areas of expertise include binocular vision, myopia control, low vision rehabilitation, and optometry education. She has authored several research publications in national and international journals and has contributed to book chapters in emerging areas of optometry and vision science. She has been invited as a speaker at national and international conferences and actively contributes to academic training and curriculum development. Her current interests focus on integrating technology, including artificial intelligence, into optometric education and clinical practice to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
