Biography

Austen El-Osta is the director of the self-care academic research unit and primary care research manager at the Imperial College London School of Public Health. He is also supporting the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Public Health Education and Training, NIHR Diagnostic Evidence Co-operative London, and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Directorate of Public Health in the same capacity. He is the director and trustee of the International Self-Care Foundation, trustee of the Self-Care Forum, and progenitor of the emerging Self-Driven Healthcare movement.
