Biography

Dr. Gulnaz Tanatarova is a Head of Nursing Department at the Department of Healthcare of Abai Region with 14 years of experience in nursing education and clinical practice. She specializes in palliative care pedagogy and dual education models. Dr. Tanatarova leads the pilot project integrating hospice care into the college curriculum and supervises faculty-practitioners working in partner medical facilities. She is a member of the Kazakhstan Nursing Association and actively develops competency-based programs for secondary medical education. Her research focuses on reducing the theory-practice gap and training emotionally resilient nurses for high-burden specialties
