Biography

Montserrat Legorreta Rojas is a public health professional from Mexico with expertise in medicine, hospital management, and strategic leadership. She holds a medical degree from Anahuac University, postgraduate training in public health and administration, and a Doctorate in Senior Management.

Her career includes leadership roles at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), where she has contributed to innovation in healthcare systems, including the development of institutional tools for improving data recording. She has also worked as an epidemiologist, supervising physician, and has been involved in hospital infrastructure projects.

Recognized for her contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, she received an Honorary Doctorate in 2021. She is actively engaged in academic and professional forums and is a member of AECHAC, supporting collaboration and social development initiatives.

Abstract
