Isatou M. Bokum recently earned her master’s degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oxford. Her dedication to education and driving impactful change propels her toward a second master’s in public policy, focusing on shaping intersectional policies for social and economic justice in Africa. She founded Girls Talk Organisation in 2018 in The Gambia, serving as its executive director to address issues affecting women and girls. Isatou holds an honours degree in Media Theory and Practice from the University of Cape Town and a bachelor’s in journalism and digital media. She proudly serves as the current President of the Oxford University Africa Society.
