In the current global epidemic for chronic diseases such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, obesity, diabetes and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia have become of major concern in developing and developed world. Anti-aging therapies such as diet, exercise and drug therapy early in life may activate anti-aging genes and control genotoxic stress that accelerates aging connected to Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. The projected costs are expected to rise to billions of dollars with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia expected to become a global epidemic in the next 20 years.
