Biography

Dr. Huaijin Zhang was born in Shandong, China, in 1965 and is a Professor of State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials Shandong University, Jinan, China. He received the B.S., M.S., and PhD degrees in physics from Shandong University, China, in 1988, 1994 and 2001, respectively. His main research work focuses on the growth and characterizations of different types of crystal materials, including laser, nonlinear, electro-optic and piezoelectric crystals. He has published over than 300 papers in refereed international journals, and holds over 30 Chinese patents.
