Biography

Dr. Pawan Kumar currently working as a Associate Professor of Physics at RKGIT, Ghaziabad. He completed M.Tech and Ph.D. in physics from IIT Delhi. Over the last decade the focus of his research has been radio frequency heating of plasmas, laser plasma interactions, laser plasma based particle accelerators, laser driven fusion, laser plasma based compact radiation sources and light matter interactions at nanoscale- plasmonics.  Dr. Pawan Kumar developed the concept of “A Surface Plasmon Laser and published more 35 research articles in highly reputed refereed international journals. Dr. Pawan Kumar is group leader of Research Centre for Compact Radiation Sources, RKGIT and member of An International Study Group to Promote Advanced and Novel Accelerators for High Energy Physics Applications, Advanced Linear Collider Research Group (ALEGRO).
